Sara Beresford Terry, Certified Therapeutic Equestrian Tai Chi Instructor
I am very excited to be able to offer the benefits of Equestrian Tai Chi as an integrated part of my therapeutic services.
My aim is to provide a compassionate, tailored therapeutic service which offers opportunities to experience new ways of being.
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Counsellor whose passions in life include horses.
I know the healing power of connecting with horses; being in nature; Mindful Movement; Rhythm; Drumming and Art and I have woven these therapeutic creative experiences into my clinical work. I have qualifications in Nature-Based Expressive Arts Therapies, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Equestrian Tai Chi and Therapeutic Drumming.
I offer experiential and creative therapy, which is Trauma-Informed, out in nature on the property at Darkes Forest NSW (between Sydney and Wollongong). Experience has taught me the importance of providing a safe therapeutic relationship and I will tailor the therapeutic work offered, to your unique needs and circumstances. I am honoured to be credentialed for seeing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and I welcome people of all genders and/or sexual orientations. I have a special interest in the fields of Trauma, Anxiety and Neurodiversity, especially ASD and ADHD.
I have professional membership/registration with the following:
