An Online Workshop for You & Your Horse
For riders who want to learn to learn an energetic practice they can share with their horse.
Hi, I'm Jenny...
I'm a Certified Tai Chi Instructor registered with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain and a Certified Riding Coach registered with Horse Sport Ireland and I'm the founder and creator of Equestrian Tai Chi®
I developed this Workshop for riders who are interested in learning Equestrian Tai Chi, but who'd rather take a short course or workshop, to see if they liked it, rather than committing themselves to a longer course.
I also created the Workshop so that riders can see how responsive their horses are to them, when they activate the balancing quality of their Chi energy.
And I also developed the Workshop to give horses a chance to show their riders, how much they relax when their riders practice Equestrian Tai Chi
What are the Benefits of practicing Equestrian Tai Chi ?
Equestrian Tai Chi is a Shared Practice for the horse and the rider, it's movements are designed to benefit the horse's body and energy too.
Equestrian Tai Chi is an ideal complimentary activity to riding as Tai Chi and Equestrianism share many of the same principles, there's even a horse stance in Tai Chi!
Equestrian Tai Chi has Physical Benefits that relate to Riding, such as it improves balance and posture, it helps with core stability and coordination and it helps to correct one-sidedness.
It helps the rider to have sensitivity and feel.
It calms the nervous system.
It develops physical and mental awareness in the rider.
Horses find it very calming when their riders practice Equestrian Tai Chi, and it deepens the partnership between the horse and the rider.
It helps the rider to be balanced, physically, emotionally and mentally.
It develops energetic awareness in the rider.
What can I expect to learn in the Workshop ?
In this workshop you will learn about your alignments, your breathing and posture, you'll learn Equestrian Tai Chi exercises and how to connect with your energy.
You'll learn how to hold yourself when you're riding to optimize the Chi flow through your body, so your energy can flow freely in harmony with the movement of your horse.
You will learn all the essential things you need to know to practice Equestrian Tai Chi effectively and safely on your horse, so your practice becomes a source of balance, peace and harmony for you and your horse to share together!
This is what people are saying ...
It’s really amazing to begin to realise how many ways energy is moving within our body and to begin to get a sense of how the horses movements link our energies together. It’s a lovely calming experience.
Still lots more to learn, which I’m looking forward to!

I remember thinking that only mystics and sages would be able to feel the energy moving through their bones, but you really can feel the difference between the channels! I find it remarkable that we “regular folk” can feel that! So cool!

Funny I always thought it was due to the weight change that guides the horse round – but this has again given me a new insight!!
Today I had a brilliant session on Bronte, using everything that we have been doing. I started with some reins moving round the arena in all directions & practising slowing down too. By the end I had a go with no reins & no leg aids as such – totally in control & what I found really amazing was Bronte came in on a smaller circle(with her head bent to the inside) – it really felt so connected even without reins.
I have always done this exercise but the horse would have the head often pointing out so really fantastic that this can make such a difference!!
