Our Essence, or Body of Individuality, is all that we are without our history, our conditioning, and our personality. It is our true nature.
Sometimes when people are dying, their Essence becomes more perceivable. They prepare themselves for moving on, by leaving behind what they don’t need. The rapture and beauty and joy inside of them can be seen in their faces or felt in the air around them.
Essence is radiant, fluid, moving. A joy to behold.
Sometimes we can experience the energetic flow of our own Essence in our practice of Equestrian Tai Chi. We get glimpses of our Essence, or the core of our being.
Essence is fluid. We cannot connect to it if we have blocked emotions, fixations, attachments or identities.
Things that are stuck inside us, cause hesitations in us, that prevent us from moving from our Essence and from its connection with The Tao.
The more we can let go of damaging thoughts and emotions, about ourselves or others, that filter our Essence from us, and our light from others, the more we can be free to actualise our unique gifts and talents.
Then we can move from, and create from our Essence. We can access the qualities of The Tao that we need for whatever we’re doing, from The Tao, because of its special connection with our Essence. In this way the love and wisdom of The Tao permeate through whatever we’re doing.
