Hi, I'm Jenny Pim!
I'm a Certified Tai Chi Instructor registered with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain and a Certified Riding Coach registered with Horse Sport Ireland and the founder and creator of Equestrian Tai ChiĀ®
I help riders who are interested in working with their Chi or energy and sense somehow it'll help them and their horse, but they're not sure where to start or how to go about it!
Since 2013 I've been teaching riders to enhance their communication and partnership with their horse through the energy practices I've developed for riders and horses based on Taoist Methods.
An important focus for me is to help illuminate horses through these practices, so people can come to perceive them as the wonderful energetic beings they truly are, and that really we're only connecting with them in a fraction of the way we could be.
Equestrian Tai Chi is Tai Chi that I developed for performance on horseback. The name Equestrian Tai Chi is the also the generic name for the training that I offer!
As well as Equestrian Tai Chi, we learn Equestrian Chi Gung, Taoist Breathing for Riding, we learn methods and techniques that will help us and our horse to be less nervous riding.
We learn to find where the thoughts that are making us nervous are coming from, so we don't have the continuous dread that our horse will spook or something bad is going to happen, and we'd better not enjoy ourselves because it's all going to go wrong soon!
We also learn to awaken and develop our Chi, to feel it flow in harmony with our horse riding and to develop a Chi Connection with our horse riding, lessening and often eliminating the need for physical aids, as our horses are so much more sensitive than we give them credit for.
As well we learn to connect with the energies of Heaven and Earth riding. This brings peace to our partnership with our horse and changes how we are together.
These things take time to learn and time for your energy to develop, it you think of your energy developing as rather like a plant growing rather than a light switch being switched on, it gives a better idea.
But it is time that is so well spent as it lifts our relationship with our horse to another level, one that is beyond space and time, that our horses appreciate so much.
We all come with similar energy systems us and our horses, but the big difference is that horses have the natural ability to access theirs whereas we don't. The training in Equestrian Tai Chi offers to change this inequality so you can have the partnership with your horse where he can be seen by you as the wonderful energetic being he really is!
Tao Riding as One is an online program for riders who would like to develop an energetic partnership with their horse, to communicate and connect through energy riding and to for them and their horse to feel safe and united together riding.
