Hi! My name is Carol Weis, and I live on a farm in Chapel Hill, TN, about 45 minutes south of Nashville.
I did not grow up owning a horse, but fell in love with them by riding the ponies that my grandfather had. I knew one day I would have my own farm and horses. I have been a horse owner for about 25 years. During that time I have cared for my own horses as well as boarded some, bred and raised some babies, done training with my horses, and shown in ranch type classes, extreme trail challenges, and cutting.
I discovered Equestrian Tai Chi as I was developing my Equine Assisted Learning program. I have a program called Westward Journey where we use the incredible healing of horses to help people learn more about themselves and help them heal. One of our programs is for breast cancer survivors. I just knew that I had to be able to add some Equestrian Tai Chi to that program, so I began the instructor certification.
I am so excited to have completed the certification and I am looking forward to helping people learn to deepen their connection with their horse and enhance their mind, body, and spirit. I have some exciting ideas about ways to present Equestrian Tai Chi. You can contact me at cw6346@gmail.com or call at 615-504-8573.
