Riding Lessons with Equestrian Tai Chi
In Donanore, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
It is widely recognised that children with Autism and other neurosensory conditions benefit from contact with animals.
Children with Autism benefit from contact with horses in particular, and from riding horses.
Tai Chi is also recognised as being beneficial for people with Autism and neurosensory conditions.
A primary reason for this is because of the unique way the practice of Tai Chi affects the nervous system.
The practice of Tai Chi, not only relaxes the nervous system, it also calms the energy/Chi of the body and the energy of the emotions and thoughts.
Now there's an opportunity to combine these disciplines that can help our children, Equestrianism and Tai Chi, with the modality of Equestrian Tai Chi.
The practice of Equestrian Tai Chi amplifies the energy of the rider and the horse, and helps their energies to move into harmony with each other, deepening the energetic connection between them.
This furthers the therapeutic benefit the rider receives from the energy of the horse.
Equestrian Tai Chi practice isn’t just for the rider, the horse benefits from it as well, as the energy flows from the rider to horse, and the horse to the rider, bringing harmony and healing to both.
